Despite heavy rain throughout the morning the weather cleared up for the afternoon apiary meeting. A reduced number of members went through the hives putting clearing boards on the hives that had supers worth extracting at the evening meeting to follow on 1st June. Although brood inspections were kept to a minimum a number of queen cells were dealt with, hopefully avoiding swarms during the following week. A number of frames were made up.
Weather fair, 14C at 14:30.
