Marin Anastasov talk: Nutritional requirement and supplemental feeding Nutrition is a basic biological need and the pre-requisite for a healthy and productive colony. Dr Nicholas Balfour and colleagues at Sussex University were recipients of funding from BBKA in 2018 for an unusual and interesting project on building an online data base of pollinator interactions.  This is intended to be open access when it becomes active (hopefully later in 2020) so that anyone can search it for any plant […]

Beekeeping in Malta Film TODAY
Escape the grimness of a January evening to watch a film on beekeeping in Malta. Melita (a group of university students) have produced a film on bees on the island of Malta and the problems faced by the beekeepers, and we are honoured to be able to see it from the warmth of our own homes rather than travelling to the film festivals where it will be shown. The film makers will be presenting the film, and I hope they will be able to answer our questions on Malta, beekeeping and film making.

We hope to see you on Saturday, and please invite friends and family too.
Petersfield Beekeepers is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Topic: Melita – Beekeeping in Malta
Time: Jan 16, 2021 07:30 PM London
