Hive 1b – Graham Rowden, Chris Clark – National 14 X 12, queen seen, no QC’s, 3 brood, 3 stores, sufficient room. Temper 8
Hive 2 – Rowen Roberts, Dean Gregory – Brood & half, no QC’s, 8 brood. 2 supers. Temper 3. Inspection aborted due to temper.
Hive 3 – Peter Reader – National double brood. 4 frames BIAS removed to create nuc. on 14/6. Queen seen, no QC’s. Brood 1 with 5 BIAS, brood 2 with 4 BIAS. sufficient room. 2 supers. Temper 8.
Hive 4 – Philippa, Janette, Andy – National Brood, Queen seen, no QC’s. 9 brood BIAS, sufficient stores & space. 4 supers. Temper 6. Inspection rapid due to temper & weather.
Hive 5 – Grant Pearce – National brood, Queen seen & marked, no QC’s. 9 brood. 3 poor brood with numerous drone cells placed above QE. high chalk brood. Varroa <2/week. Varroa board removed to aid air flow. Temper 7.
