Eight Members joined the Wednesday training session on a cool cloudy afternoon 13C.  All colonies are National Single  Brood unless otherwise stated.

Hive 2 – inspected by Richard Williams – 10 frames bees, 6 frames brood.  2 QC’s having been found on 24 April, today’s inspection was to remove excess QC’s.  6QC’s seen, all but 1 original removed.  Sufficient room & stores.  Feeding.  Temper 3.  Wax moth seen.

Hive 3 – inspected by Caroline Sedgwick – 9 frames bees, 5 frames BIAS, sufficient room & stores, feeding.  Temper 3.  High varroa

Hive 4 – inspected by Caroline Sedgwick – Double Brood, 10 frames bees, 3 & 4 frames BIAS, Queen seen (yellow) Sufficient room & stores.  Temper 3.

Hive 5 – inspected by Hilary Hayward – 10 frames bees, 9 frames BIAS, Queen seen (white).  Sufficient room & stores but requires second Brood., 2 Supers, one with honey, second filling.  Temper 3. Health OK, EFB negative LFT.

Hive 6 – inspected by Peter Reader – National Nuc.  5 frames bees, 4 frames BIAS, laying well, ready to move to National Brood.  Health OK, Temper 3.

Hive 9  – Nuc created from Hive 7 Queen & 3 frames BIAS and 2 frames stores.
